The Rules are simple 1 x XR 100 2 x riders 1 x crate of big bots, the team with the most laps completed when the crate is empty wins.
This years Southern Hundy event was held on a nice property at the top of Mt Alan. 4 different tracks in 4 years which is pretty cool. Riders were saying that the rain and subsequent track conditions made this one of the hardest hundy races yet.
Unfortunately I couldn’t defend the title that me and Caleb won last year, as I broke my wrist the weekend before at the first round of the southern motocross series so I just took some photos and enjoyed the action instead.
The muddy conditions made for fun watching with riders crashing and getting stuck all over the place, at the end of the day it was consistency that paid off. The winning team also won the trophy for biggest piece of shit bike, which sums up this event perfectly, its just a hole lot of fun. I’m hoping to be back on the start line next year and maybe me and Caleb can be the first repeat winners of the event in its 5th year.
A big shout out to Caleb Holmes for organizing and running this event each year, it’s just so good.
